Replace The Niagara County IDA Board Members

The Niagara County Industrial Development Agency (NCIDA) is appointed by the Niagara County Legislature. They are not appointed to terms but serve on a day to day basis at the pleasure of the County Legislature. Henry Sloma is the chairman of the NCIDA and by all accounts is the key figure who pushed this "illegal" AES TAX Cut PILOT through. (more. . . )

New York State IDA Reform Legislation

Testimony was given citizen groups to the State Senate Committee on Local Governments on May 17th, 2007 at the Erie County Library. Assemblyman Sam Hoyt chairs the committee and invited citizen groups to present Testimony verbally and in writing. Tax Reform Niagara was invited as well as NY Jobs with Justice and the WNY Coalition for Economic Justice.
